What do you do on a first date?
Yes I suppose you could go for a meal which is a nice thing to do of course, but perhaps a little unimaginative?
Here are some other ideas for an amazing and fun first date:
Bowling: I am talking about Ten Pin Bowling and not Crown Green bowling by the way – unless your date is 70 years old
Bowling is great fun! And you can have a hotdog and a drink while engaging in some friendly competition. Doing something like bowling also means that the emphasis is not just on talking all night, which can become awkward if the conversation dries up!
Walking or Hiking: Get yourselves outdoors and experience a hike or a long walk together. A shared experience like this will bond you closer and is more likely to lead to a second date.
The Theatre: OK, so not everybody’s cup of tea perhaps but maybe a bit classier than the movies! A nice play or some opera perhaps? Or maybe just “We Will Rock You”?
Local Gig: I am thinking a mellow jazzy kind of vibe where you can still talk rather than a Motorhead concert by the way.
Local Tourist Attraction: As locals we sometimes don’t even realise what’s on our own doorstep. For example, where I live we have a world famous Cathedral which people travel from all corners of the Globe to see, and yet which some local people have never even been into.
Ice Skating: May provide an opportunity to hold hands as you struggle to keep upright on the ice? And is also great fun.
So there we have it. I hope you enjoyed these first date ideas now please stay on the website and check out some more dating information!
